Experienced. Reachable. Problem solvers.

Many of us are parents ourselves and know the questions that come up when your child is far from home. English-speaking staff are a permanent part of the team.

We respond quickly, personally and directly. No chatbot, no queue. You will always speak to someone who knows what you are asking about.

What does Glasmacher charge?

The initial consultation is always free. Our fee applies from the point at which we send you our school recommendations and begin organising appointments with the schools. It is a one-off charge of €476 including VAT, covers the entire family and includes younger siblings at no additional cost.

Does Glasmacher help with entrance tests?

We explain exactly which tests each of the selected schools requires and provide your child with practice materials and preparatory resources through our family portal. If additional support is needed, we have tried and tested recommendations for tutoring. You will find relevant contacts on our partner page, or simply ask us directly.

Are there shorter language stays for younger students?

Many of our partner schools open their campuses in the summer as summer schools for students aged twelve to seventeen. A language course at a boarding school is a good way to improve English during the holidays, take part in plenty of sport and spend time with peers from around the world. We are happy to advise.

Can my child go abroad after having finished school in Germany?

Absolutely. There are many options for young adults from the age of seventeen onwards: A few weeks of intensive language training, a stay of several months, or a full foundation year combining language and academic subjects. The time between school and university is well spent broadening both personal and academic horizons, and we have different options for individual needs.
