What does a British boarding school cost?
Fees typically run between £16,000 and £22,000 per term, or roughly €52,000 to €75,000 per school year, depending on the school, its facilities and the year group. Tuition, accommodation, all meals, sport and most activities are included.
The fees reflect what these schools actually provide: highly qualified teachers, small classes and a staffing ratio that makes individual attention possible. Small teaching groups do not just make for more focused learning. They require significantly more staff, and that is a central part of what makes British boarding schools what they are.
On top of the term fees, there are one-off costs: a registration fee, a deposit, school uniform and, where applicable, a visa. Ongoing additional expenses typically include flights, transport to the airport, school trips and pocket money.
Our consultancy fee is a one-off charge of €476 including VAT per family. Younger siblings are included in our support at no additional cost.

What children take away from this experience is harder to put a number on. British boarding schools build the qualities that matter after school: resilience, curiosity, self-reliance, critical thinking, character and a strong moral foundation. Young people live and learn in an international community, take on responsibility early and form friendships that frequently last a lifetime.
Many parents tell us their child came home older in the best sense: more open, more confident and ready for whatever comes next.
